Guacamole

Ingredients:
  • 2 very ripe avocados

  • juice of 1 lemon, divided in half

  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed

  • 1 small tomato

  • ½ tsp salt

  • hot sauce (optional)

Steps:
  1. Cut avocados in half and scoop out the meat. Mash in a serving bowl with a fork.
  2. Add the ½ the lemon juice, the garlic, tomato, salt and hot sauce.
  3. Stir well. Taste. If more lemon flavor is needed add the remaining lemon juice.

Serve immediately or cover the surface of the guacamole with plastic wrap. (Putting the avocado pit in the center of the salad will keep the salad from browning.)
